This course provides participants with a basic working knowledge of how to run a payroll in their workplace. The focus of this course is not legislation, but best practice in the management of payroll.

Owners, managers or payroll personnel recently promoted or wanting a refresher in the basic functions and processes of payroll.

Purpose

Every business with employees has an obligation to pay their staff. To do this effectively, payroll procedures and structures need to be carefully considered and implemented to suit the needs of the business and the legislative requirements.
