Managing Employee Leave

For

Business owners, managers and team leaders who want a clear understanding of what leave entitlements employees must have and can be given.

Purpose

Outside the Holidays Act 2003 and Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987, there is very little legislation providing leave for employees. This course will clearly identify the minimum leave entitlements and employment protection provisions required by law. It will clearly outline other types of leave that employers are typically giving staff as an extra entitlement and show how all leave must be managed to minimise risk and cost to the business while also providing benefits to the employer. Relevant and timely examples will be used throughout the course with exercises on how leave can be managed and maintained.
